That was my personal top ten i know there were a lot of horses you may feel i missed out but i like i said it was personal favourites.We all have our own personal favourites and for varying reasons,Maybe a win on a bad run or even your last one up in a yankee.Over the course of this blog i will go more indepth on my chosen horses and also look at certain betting systems and formulas that have been tried(and probably failed), and we will also do profiles on horses,trainers and jockeys.

NUMBER ONE

BEST MATE

My personal favourite horse of all time is best mate,With a hat trick of Cheltenham gold cup wins and with 14 victories and 7 places in 22 starts this horse was a machine, And his untimeley death i beleive was a massive blow to horseracing.

Best Mate won his first race in november 1999 and his last win came november 2004.His very final run was november 2005.

NUMBER TWO

SEA THE STARS
Who will ever forget the way this horse won the arc de triomphe.....it was just fabulous with 7 wins from 8 starts sea the stars comes in at number 2.

Sea the stars first win was august 2008 and his last win and race was that awesome display in the arc in october 2009.

NUMBER THREE

WELL CHIEF

Well chief is a horse i love to watch particularly in his heyday with 10 wins and 10 places in 25 starts,His most notable victory is the Arkle in 2004 and during his career has beaten some very smart horses.

His first win came in february 2003 and his last win to date was november 2009,His last race to date was march 2010.

NUMBER FOUR

ROOSTER BOOSTER

Here we go at number 4 is Rooster Booster with 10wins and 20 places from 46 runs,His most notable effort being the champion hurdle winner at Cheltenham in 2003.

He gained his first win in jan2000 and his last win was oct2005,His last race came oct2005.

NUMBER FIVE

RAKTI

With 4 wins and 2 places from 10 starts rakti hits my number 5.Everytime i watched this horse you could tell in the first furlong if he had a chance,if he was pulling you threw your slip in the bin lol.

His first win came in october 2003 and his last win came in may 2005 and he had his last run in october 2005.

NUMBER SIX

INGLIS DREVER

Another horse that i enjoyed watching a good honest horse that always gave his all.
From 35starts he won 17 (4 on the flat) and placed 11.

His last win came in march 2008 (cheltenham world hurdle) and his last race was november 2008.

NUMBER SEVEN

Seargeant Cecil
With 9 wins and 19 places out of 51 races this stayer never gave up.

This horse had his first win in may2003 and his last win came in may 2007,His last race was may2008.

NUMBER EIGHT

Asian Maze
With 24 races with 9 wins and 7 places.Her wins came over varying distances over hurdles from 2miles up to 3miles, Again this horse is in my top ten as everytime i watched her race i enjoyed it.

Her last win came in april2006 at punchestown and her last race was april2007 at Aintree

NUMBER NINE

Lochsong is at number nine for me, Although he may have been higher if he was not retired to stud so early,with 4 wins from 6 runs as a sprinter i don't think i have seen anything better.
His 4 wins all came over 5furlongs.

Lochsong hits my number nine.

My top ten

Ok my very first post is going to be all about my personal favourite top ten racehorses.

So to get the ball rolling at number 10 is

NUMBER 10.......CORRIDOR CREEPER

I loved this horse out of 112 starts he had 10 wins and 31 places.Corridor creeper always gave his all and on his day was a very smart horse.

His last win was may2006 and his last race was oct2008.
He was an out and out sprinter  and of his 10 wins 9 were over 5 furlongs and one(his very first win)was over 6 furlongs.
